Neonatal bradycardia: verify ventilation before compressions

Educational use only. Not clinically reviewed

0-year-old boy for compression-threshold recognition, qualified coordination review, reassessment, and active-risk handoff practice. About 6 simulated minutes.

What you will practise

  • Activate qualified compression, ventilation, clock, and dyad response.
  • Connect adequate ventilation, heart rate, airway, oxygenation, and the whole dyad.
  • Recognize the compression threshold only after adequate ventilation.
  • Review qualified compression-ventilation coordination and the epinephrine boundary.
  • Review the fixed 3-minute qualified-team response report.
  • Hand off respiratory, circulatory, neurologic, parent, and outcome risk.
