  • Recognize hyperosmolar illness without glucose-, sodium-, or ketone-only closure.
  • Review qualified cautious correction, monitoring, and harm-prevention boundaries.
  • Review the fixed 4-hour qualified-team report.
  • Hand off osmolality, cognition, fluid, electrolyte, precipitant, and outcome risk.
