Anaphylaxis
Educational use only. Not clinically reviewed34-year-old man for Emergency recognition and initial response to suspected anaphylaxis. About 7 simulated minutes.
What you will practise
- Recognize abrupt airway, breathing, and circulation compromise after a plausible exposure without waiting for skin findings.
- Position the patient, mobilize help, and record the fixed adult first-line intramuscular epinephrine action.
- Add high-flow oxygen and early isotonic crystalloid for respiratory distress and cardiovascular instability.
- Reassess airway, breathing, circulation, mental status, and monitor response after initial treatment.
