Acute ischemic stroke

Educational use only. Not clinically reviewed

68-year-old woman for Emergency reperfusion decision and thrombectomy transfer activation. About 9 simulated minutes.

What you will practise

  • Recognize a disabling acute stroke pattern, establish last-known-well time, check glucose, and activate the stroke system.
  • Review the authored noncontrast CT, CTA, blood pressure, and thrombolysis eligibility findings.
  • Record the fixed local-protocol tenecteplase intent without delaying eligible reperfusion.
  • Activate the endovascular pathway for the authored large-vessel occlusion without waiting for thrombolysis response.
  • Record focused post-treatment surveillance and a clock-explicit thrombectomy handoff.
