Complete heart block
Educational use only. Not clinically reviewed76-year-old woman for Urgent monitored evaluation and pacing-pathway handoff. About 8 simulated minutes.
What you will practise
- Reconcile the fixed complete-AV-block report, mechanical pulse, recent presyncope, and current whole-patient stability.
- Review the fixed reversible, physiologic, ischemic, infectious, toxic, medication, procedural, and structural context without declaring a cause.
- Promptly activate cardiology/electrophysiology and monitored pacing-capable care with a deterioration contingency.
- After elapsed time, reassess the fixed persistent complete block, pulse, perfusion, and acute-change triggers.
- Record guideline-supported permanent-pacing evaluation, shared decisions, owner, and handoff.
