What you will practise
- Recognize obstructed inspiratory effort after extubation as an upper-airway emergency.
- Restore upper-airway patency with a held jaw thrust, continuous positive pressure, and 100% oxygen.
- Confirm that gas movement, capnography, and oxygenation recover after initial support.
