Hypothermia and rewarming
Educational use only. Not clinically reviewed62-year-old woman for Open right hemicolectomy. About 9 simulated minutes.
What you will practise
- Recognize a falling core-temperature trend before treating one displayed value as an isolated number.
- Restore active surface warming after the modeled interruption.
- Include the fixed remaining 700 mL crystalloid exposure in the thermal plan.
- Follow core temperature through rewarming rather than treating the warming action as the endpoint.
