Silent TIVA-line disconnection

Educational use only. Not clinically reviewed

34-year-old woman for Laparoscopic cholecystectomy. About 10 simulated minutes.

What you will practise

  • Establish hypnosis before giving a drug that removes movement as a warning.
  • Investigate the intravenous delivery path when predicted depth rises without a vital-sign explanation.
  • Reconnect the hypnotic line before a silent delivery failure becomes prolonged.
  • Use quantitative block and predicted depth together; paralysis is not hypnosis.
